Swinford indoor market

The Swinford indoor country market will take place tomorrow morning, Saturday March 3, from 9.30am to 2pm in the Swinford Cultural Centre. Go along and pick up some great local produce, including cakes, breads, vegetables, and arts and crafts.

Operation Transformation walk

An Operation Transformation 6km walk/run will take place on Saturday March 3 at 11am in Charlestown. Registration will take place in the Pastoral Centre, Charlestown, from 10am and entry costs €10.

Tooreen dinner dance

The Tooreen hurling club will host their annual dinner dance on Saturday, March 10, in the Park Hotel in Kiltimagh at 7.30pm. The members of the senior panel will be presented with their medals for winning the Mayo and Connacht championship. Tickets are available from club officers.

Fitness classes in Swinford

Fitness classes take place in Swinford Community Centre on Monday from 8.30pm to 9.30pm, on Wednesday mornings for ladies only from 9.30am to 10.30am and for everybody from 8pm to 9pm. On Saturdays classes will take place from 11am to 12 noon. Classes cost €6, or €3 for students, on a pay as you go basis. On the stage in Knock

The Knock Drama Group will be performing The Decision in Carty's Lounge in Knock for two nights this month. Performances will take place on Friday, March 9, and Saturday, March 10.

Kilmovee pop-up restaurant

The ever popular pop-up restaurant returns to the Thatch Cottage in Kilmovee on Saturday, March 10. It costs €25 for a three course menu and you can bring your own bottle. Booking is essential. For reservations ring (094 ) 9649484 or email [email protected].

Easter craft fair

A Easter craft fair will take place in Carracastle Community Centre on Sunday, March 11. If you would like to have a table at the fair call (086 ) 1661096.

Kilmovee 10km

The ninth annual Kilmovee 10km takes place on Saturday, March 31, at 1pm. The event will start at Kilmovee Shamrocks GAA Club with the proceeds going to Kilmovee Shamrocks and the Mayo Roscommon Hospice palliative care service. There will be cash prizes for all categories, and refreshments will be avilable after the race in the community centre. iPad classes

Free iPad classes will start in Ballyhaunis Library on Tuesday, March 20, and will continue each Tuesday for four weeks after. The classes will take place from 3pm to 5pm each Tuesday. To book your place call (094 ) 9630161.

Charlestown active retired

The active retired association has resumed its weekly meetings, every Monday from 2.30pm to 4.30pm in the Pastoral Centre in Charlestown. New members are always welcome.

Carracastle zumba

Swinford St Patrick's Day
