Ballinrobe boot X-Change
Do you have football boots that are still good but don’t fit? Do you need football boots but don’t want to spend big money? This week football boots of all sizes can be dropped into the Tacú Centre, Jennings Butchers, Treacy’s Chemist, and JJ Burke Car Sales. On Saturday, March 10, and Saturday, March 24, the Lakeside Centre will have football boots available between 9.30am and 11am. A donation of €5 per pair is required. Silk painting and felting class
A silk painting and felting class will take place in the Cúram Family Centre in Claremorris on Monday March 5 at 10am. The class costs €65, including all materials. Places are limited, for more information call (094 ) 9362096.
Weekly 25 card game in Ballinrobe
A weekly 25 card game (partners ) takes place in Western Care's Crannmór Training Centre, Ballinrobe (behind the old Vocational School, Neale Road ), every Sunday evening, commencing at 7.30pm. Entry costs €10 per person, there will be cash prizes, and all proceeds are in aid of Western Care.
Craftmates at Tacú in Ballinrobe

Claremorris Drama and Fringe Festival
The Claremorris Drama and Fringe Festival is coming up very soon and season tickets are now available to purchase for the festival. The 10 night ticket costs €90 and nightly tickets are €15. The Family Support Service in the Tacú Family Resource Centre in Ballinrobe is a free, confidential, service open to all families in the area. This service offers support to parents, children, and young people who may be experiencing difficulties. The Ballinrobe Agricultural Show, which is normally held on the first Sunday in September, will now take place on Sunday, July 29.
Get on your bike with Claremorris Cycling Club
Claremorris Cycling Club, in conjunction with the Bike Clinic, Castlebar, is organising a four week introduction to cycling course consisting of four one hour sessions (two indoor and two outdoor ). The second indoor sessions will be held on Monday March 5 at 8pm in Curam Centre in Claremorris. Topics such as bike care, road safety, etc, will be covered in these sessions. The dates for the outdoor sessions will be confirmed at the meeting. This course is free to all members of the public. Minors (under 18 ) must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.
