The ever popular Garrymore Drama Group returns to Claremorris Town Hall with a cracking production of Michael Carey’s hit play Thy Will Be Done on Friday, November 17, at 8pm.
This is the story of two brothers, Jack and Peteen, who live side by side but have not spoken in 40 years, with home help, Bridie, acting as a go-between. Peteen’s has been a failed marriage, with his wife emigrating to America just before their son was born, never to return. When she dies in America, their son returns to Ireland and is torn between his love for his uncle and his respect for his father.
Equally hilarious and moving, Thy Will be Done has become an international favourite and, given the usual Garrymore production standards, patrons are guaranteed an evening of laughter and tears, in equal measure. Tickets from townhall.ie/tickets
