Linenhall autumn programme goes live

The first announced events for the Linenhall Arts Centre’s Autumn/Winter 2017 are now online, heralding an exciting and packed programme that promises lots for everyone in the coming months.

The very special Duke Special will be performing his new project Hallow, mining a new seam of inspiration based on Belfast poet Michael Longley's poems, that is full of gentleness, honesty, mischief, and love, on Wednesday, October 11, at 8pm. There will be comedy galore on the cards, with Castlebar native the “incredibly funny” (The Examiner ) Ger Staunton making a highly anticipated return visit to his hometown for a solo show special on Friday, September 8, at 8pm. And continuing the comedy, David O'Doherty – the Aldi Bublé, the Ryanair Enya – presents his new show Big Time, an evening of his latest jokes and songs on Thursday,  November 16, at 8pm.

And that is just a taster. The full programme, with lots more, will be online next week, and the printed programme will be available at the end of August. Keep checking the website for updates, www.thelinenhall.com The Linenhall Arts Centre acknowledges the financial support of the Arts Council in making this event possible.
