JCI Mayo and the Bank Of Ireland this week held an information evening for their Friendly Business Awards 2017 in the Bank of Ireland Castlebar. The JCI Mayo Friendly Business Awards seeks to recognise the important role played by small and medium businesses in the continuous development and improvement of our economy and local communities.
The competition aims to award businesses that go the extra mile and provide an outstanding service to their customers and their community at large. It is particularly important in this economic environment to highlight businesses that don't allow their standards to slip and continue to provide quality services.
Deborah Mc Andrew, president of JCI Mayo, says we need to remind ourselves of the lengths small local businesses go to to keep us (the consumers ) happy and them open. From getting involved with their local community to responding to all enquiries in a timely polite manner - all these show traits of a Friendly Business and we need to highlight these to help them be noticed.
The Bank of Ireland is the national sponsor of the Friendly Business Awards. They have spoken about the importance of encouraging local businesses in the community along with their keen interest in providing the services and support that will enable the further success of those businesses. Nominations for the awards are open until, Monday, August 7. For more information log onto http://www.jcimayo.ie/FBA/
