Ballina’s popular season of car treasure hunts re-commences this year with the first hunt on Sunday next, July 2. Beginning from Ballina Stephenites clubhouse cars will be departing between 3pm and 4.30pm.
The hunt coincides with the launch of the ‘Mizen to Malin’ sponsored cycle which takes place later this year in aid of the proposed Anthony Golden Community park on the Killala road. This promises to be a fun filled event and will be followed by a barbeque back at the clubhouse.
Avid treasure hunters can also look forward to the Ballina Salmon Festival car treasure hunt which takes place on Friday, July 14. Cars will be departing from Rouse’s on Pearse street between 6pm and 8pm that day. Entry to both hunts is €20 per car.
