Kieran Goss with special guest Annie Kinsella are coming to Westport

Kieran Goss will be bringing his 'Home for the Summer' tour to Matt Molloy's, Westport, on Wednesday, July 13. Long hailed as one of Ireland’s leading songwriters and performers, Kieran Goss’s music has won him fans across the globe. But if his songs have made him a star, his live shows have made him a legend. Live on stage is where Kieran Goss really shines. Kieran and his wife Annie have been resident in Dromore West for many years but touring commitments abroad mean that that are rarely home.

Goss explains: "We've been playing 150 to 200 shows a year for many years and only a handful of those would ever be in Ireland. We made a decision that we wanted to be home more, particularly in the summer and so we decided to name this tour 'Home For the Summer' taking in beautiful spots along the west coast in Westport and Kerry and West Cork and Clare. We'll throw the bikes in the back of the van and make it into a holiday as well as concerts. I'm really looking forward to it and the tour kicks off in Matt Molly's in Westport."

Kieran Goss will perform the first half of the show solo and will be joined on stage in the second half by harmony singer Annie Kinsella. This is a rare chance to see Goss performing in this beautiful intimate venue.

Tickets cost €20, but are not available in advance and can only be purchased on the night of the show, doors open at 7.30pm with the show getting underway at 8.45pm. For more information log on to www.kierangoss.com
