Dowdall and Hanrahan in Ballina

Leslie Dowdall is the voice and songwriter behind the sound that was In Tua Nua, Mike Hanrahan is the voice and songwriter that is Stockton’s Wing, and they will be taking to the stage together in the Ballina Arts Centre on Thursday, June 15.  Following her stint fronting legendary Irish band In Tua Nua, Leslie Dowdall’s solo career began in earnest with the release of No Guilt, No Guile in 1997. The album won high praise for its creativity and featured hit single ‘Wonderful Thing’. 

Mike Hanrahan’s first solo recording, Someone Like You, also featured a timeless classic in ‘We Had it All’ a song later recorded by Ronnie Drew, Eleanor Shanley and Mary Coughlan. Mike spent 14 years as a member of Stockton’s Wing and many years as producer, writer, and guitarist with Ronnie Drew. The show features Leslie on vocals, keyboards and guitar and Mike on guitars and vocals.
