Gardaí in Belmullet are investigation a fatal road traffic collision which occurred this morning, Wednesday, March 1 just before 10am.
A two car collision occurred on the R312, Keenagh Cross Roads. A man in his mid 60s, who was the sole occupant of the car was pronounced dead at the scene and has been removed to Mayo General Hospital.
The occupants of the second car, a male and female in their early 30s have been brought to Mayo General with non life threatening injuries. The road has been closed for Garda Forensic Collision Investigators and diversions are in place.
