The 2016 Kiltimagh One Act Drama Festival will take place in the Town Hall Theatre over this coming weekend, starting tonight Friday October 28 to Sunday October 30.
Things will kick off this evening with Parke Drama Group performing A Galway Girl, The Breffni Players from Carrick-on-Shannon will be staging Lucy In the Sky, and Clann Machua from Kiltimagh will be putting on The Shadow of the Glen.
On Saturday Ballina Drama Group will stage Lone Star, The Seamus O'Kelly Players from Loughrea will bring to the stage The Wooden Pear, and the Skull Drama Group will perform their production of Looking for a Mate.
The curtain will come down on the festival on Sunday, with the Glenamaddy Drama Group putting on The Problem, they will be followed by the Castlewood Players from Cratloe's production of Faint Voices, and the No Drama Theatre Group from Dublin will round things off with Hardboiled.
The adjudicator is Ailbhe Garvey-Hughes, the curtain will come up at 8pm each night, tickets are available from Langan’s off licence (094 ) 9381234 and are €10 per night or €20 for the three nights. Tickets also available at the door.
