Mayo based international businesses encouraged to attend EXIM Summit

Businesses in Mayo which trade internationally are encouraged to attend the EXIM Summut, and to enter the EXIM Hero Awards, also taking place on the day. The one-day conference - sponsored by Post Logistics, a new service for exporters from An Post - will feature a panel discussion on the implications of Brexit for Irish global traders.

Speakers include Westport based Portwest's CEO Harry Hughes, former minister of state for European affairs Lucinda Creighton, former CEO of Digicel and Vodafone Stephen Brewer and airline captain and luxury chocolate entrepreneur Bernice Moran, whose brand Be Sweet Chocolates is backed by Richard Branson. The event will feature a conference, business showcase, focused workshops, and the inaugural EXIM Hero Awards, celebrating the achievements of Irish exporters and importers.
