The Social Democrats will host the last in their series of regional events focusing on the Connacht region which will take place today, Friday, at 6.30pm in The Galway Bay Hotel in Galway.
The Social Democrats will host their event with a view to gaining feedback from those interested in the party and its future priorities and organisational structures. The meeting comes following similar events in Munster and Leinster.
It is envisaged that the feedback from these events will be used in developing the party's new constitution and in organising the party's national conference in October of this year. The three party leaders, Catherine Murphy TD, Stephen Donnelly TD, and Róisín Shortall TD will address the event this evening and will be joined by guest speaker Dr Micheline Sheehy-Skeffington.
