The third Annual Bikers Run for Western Care Association Children's Autism Services took place on Saturday June 4 last. Organised by Ann and Tom Burns and their friends, more than 50 bikers travelled around all the major towns of west and south Mayo on a beautiful sunny day. Bucket collections were taken up in the towns en-route with a total of €5,000 raised through the event for the Association’s Children’s Autism Services.
Western Care Association wishes to thank all the bikers that participated in the event, the bucket collectors who volunteered on the day and particularly the many people that contributed so generously to the collection; your support is greatly appreciated! They also most sincerely thank Ann and Thomas Burns and their family, friends and the members of the biking community in Mayo for their hard work in organising this event each year which in three years has raised almost €12,000 for Children's Autism Services.
