The Swing Cats are back

Due to popular demand will perform their live show ‘The Story of Swing’ at The Town Hall Theatre, Westport on Easter Sunday, March 27. A musical timeline of swing classics of the 1920’s to a modern day contemporary twist that features the music of Louis Armstrong, The Rat Pack, Michael Buble, Paolo Nutini and more.

Never before has a show captured the full evolution of swing music like this. From its birth in the 1920’s to the big band era of the 30’s and 40’s. From the golden age of the 50’s and 60’s with household name’s like Sinatra, Bobby Darrin, Luis Prima, Andy Williams to the modern era of Buble and Nutini. Hear such classics as “King of the Swingers” “Puttin on the Ritz” “When the saints go marching in” “Mack the Knife” “I can’t take my eyes off you” and many more performed live once again by The Swing Cats

The Swing Cats have drawn on these icons as their main influences but have added a brand of high energy swing dance music that suits all ages.Lead by popular singer Luke Thomas they have crafted an act and a live show that keeps audiences coming back time and time again.
