Fine Gael candidate in Mayo, Michelle Mulherin TD, has welcomed the news that Crossmolina-based company Churchfield Home Services is to create a further 50 jobs in the town. "Churchfield Home Services employs 10 people in Crossmolina and is involved in the home and business retrofit market in Ireland in partnership with regional retrofit installers. The company’s home improvement services include everything from home insulation, electrical, heating, windows and doors, flat roofing, and guttering services. This is a hugely innovative company that I have been glad to support. Its managing director, Noel Rowland, has been nominated for an Irish Construction Award in the Innovation in Construction category. With State supports, Noel Rowland has created 10 jobs in Crossmolina and with continued support he plans to create a further 50 jobs in the short term," said Mulherin.
She continued: "I am delighted to help this local business reach its goals and bring employment opportunities to the Crossmolina area. This is a hugely innovative company that I have been glad to support. Noel and many other entrepreneurs are champions of business and investment in our region who work away diligently and quietly to make their plans a reality. Churchfield Home Services is an exciting and innovative new concept for the construction sector in Ireland. It provides an umbrella organisation for installers who can avail of a complete suite of professional centralized support services based in the company's office in Crossmolina."
She concluded: "This is further evidence of just some of the green shoots of economic recovery locally which underscores the fact that the Government jobs creation policy is working. We need to press on with this momentum which I have no doubt will see more investment and job creation in our area in the short term."
