Hyundai is the number one car brand in the Irish car market

Hyundai Ireland announced this week that it is now the number one car brand in Ireland, with a record 5,062 passenger cars sold during the month of January, 2016.

The Hyundai January sales result can be attributed to an unprecedented consumer reaction to the new Hyundai Tucson, with record model sales resulting in the New Tucson becoming Ireland’s best-selling passenger car, and significant percentage growth in sales of the Hyundai i10, Hyundai i20 and Hyundai i30 model ranges.

The Hyundai dealer network nationwide has recorded large consumer footfall during the month of January and consumer demand for February car registrations across the Hyundai range is looking very strong. Hyundai Ireland will continue to advertise heavily during the month of February, promoting the Hyundai 161 trade and up-grade programme which comprises the Hyundai 161 trade and upgrade scrappage offer of up to €4,000, as well as 161 Hyundai trade and up-grade finance offers.

Hyundai Ireland's sales result is testament to the belief of Irish consumers in the quality and design of the Hyundai product range, coupled with the assurance of Hyundai’s five year manufacturer backed unlimited mileage warranty.
