Mayo Roscommon Hospice Foundation is appealing to all runners, joggers, and walkers to get ready for this year’s Kilmovee 10k on Holy/Easter Saturday March 26 at 1pm. The registration fee for the race is €20 and by taking part you are supporting local palliative care services in Mayo and Roscommon.
There are several races every year but numbers continue to grow for the Kilmovee 10k, with numbers last year exceeding 600. All involved in this 10k including the Kilmovee Shamrocks GAA Club have raised €35,000 over the last six years for local hospice/palliative care services. It is a great community spirit event with home made bakes and treats on offer afterwards in the Kilmovee Community Centre so everyone can soak up the atmosphere afterwards during the presentations.
Why not take on the 10k challenge in Kilmovee and raise much needed funds for hospice at the same time?
