Anything Goes for Claremorris Musical Society next week

The ever popular and award winning Claremorris Musical Society is all set to tread the boards as cast and crew get ready to raise the anchor on their 10th annual production, Anything Goes.

Set aboard the ocean liner cruise ship the S S American, nightclub singer/evangelist, Reno Sweeney, is en route from New York to England. Her pal, Billy Crocker, has stowed away to be near his love, Hope Harcourt. The problem is Hope is engaged to wealthy Englishman Lord Evelyn Oakleigh. Joining this love triangle on board the luxury liner are public enemy ‘Number 13’, Moonface Martin and his sidekick-in-crime Erma.

With the help of elaborate disguises, good old-fashioned blackmail, dancing deckhands, and cracking show tunes, Reno and Moonface Martin join forces to help Billy in his quest to win Hope’s heart. Loaded with much loved classics such as ‘I Get a Kick Out of You’, ‘It’s De-Lovely’ and ‘Anything Goes’, this fast paced comedy musical is guaranteed to entertain both young and old.
