Mayo’s first youth bank, Castle Cash, has opened in partnership with Foroige, Ulster Bank, the Irish Youth Foundation, and the Irish Community Foundation. The bank grants funds to share out among young people and youth groups in Castlebar town.
People between the ages of 14 and 20 can apply, with a series of interviews taking place prior to granting the money. The closing date for all applications is February 27.
