Achill based singer Graham Sweeney is an innovative and creative young Mayo singer-songwriter who has released a charity single to raise much needed funds for Galway Hospice. The moving song is a tribute to his dear friend Joan Egan, who sadly passed away earlier this year at the Galway Hospice following a battle with Motor Neurone Disease. Graham’s new single “I Am” aims to raise much needed funds and awareness for the Galway Hospice, and all proceeds from this special track will be donated to this worthy foundation. Having toured with Declan O’Rourke, Damien Dempsey, and Mick Flannery, and played at several festivals including Electric Picnic, Graham Sweeney has a unique and captivating sound. Blending traditional guitar playing with his unique style of finger tapping, the talented young county Mayo songwriter produces haunting percussive guitar riffs and delicate vocal melodies.
