eBay.ie has declared Mayo a category winner in its very own All Ireland 2008 Championship. This championship is held annually across the island and looks at who is buying and selling what on eBay.ie Carlow were crowned overall winners for 2008.
Mayo emerged victorious as the winner in the home category. Mayo locals sold more items for the home than any other county in Ireland, with Waterford in second place and Meath in third.
Mayo also popped up as runners-up in two categories, they came second for selling travel, with Galway and Clare in first and third place. Selling dolls and dollhouses is another big category for Mayo eBayers, they came second in this category, losing out on the top spot to Tipperary and just beating Waterford who came third.
