Taoiseach welcomes Hospice planning

An Taoiseach Enda Kenny has welcomed the decision to grant full planning permission for the Mayo Roscommon Hospice facility in Castlebar.

Speaking on Monday this week the Taoiseach said: "This is good news for the people of the west. The hospice is a truly great organisation that provides care and comfort for people at very difficult times. I am very happy that full planning permission has been granted for their project in Castlebar.

"I want to pay tribute to all those who help make Hospice the wonderful organisation it is. Countless hours are spent by volunteers across the counties of Mayo and Roscommon every week."
