Guitarist Pat Coldrick brings his musical skills to the Linenhall Arts Centre in Castlebar for an evening of classical and original guitar music on Thursday, September 24 at 8pm.
Pat Coldrick is an Irish classical guitarist and composer, who has been working for the last six years in Ireland but has also performed in Europe, the USA and Russia. Pat pushes the boundaries of classical guitar with his interpretations and his unique live performances, taking the genre to another level altogether. Pat’s personal connection with his audience is an art form in itself and his dedication, passion, skill and superb ability as a performer are well recognised. An evening of original compositions includes Pat’s ever-popular “Lament”, “Antarctica” and “CityJam”, and also the great guitar works by Albéniz, Barrios and Tarrega and a host of Pat’s arrangements of popular classic melodies.
