Northern Irish man killed in road traffic accident

A 55-year-old Antrim man was killed near Hollymount last Sunday afternoon following a head on collision with a van. He was named this week as Antrim native, Robert Wright. An inquest into the man's death was opened earlier this week, but was adjourned until December.

Gardai from Claremorris Garda Station are asking for any witnesses to the crash which happened on the R331 between Hollymount and Claremorris between 1pm and 1.30pm last Sunday, September 6 to contact them in Claremorris Garda Station on (094 ) 9372080.
