Want a fresh start?

The Erris FreshStart programme, based in Belmullet, is a personal, social, and vocational exploration course, which helps people who may not have had educational, employment, and social opportunities by providing a safe place to learn new skills.

Programme content includes: computer skills, arts and crafts, health and safety, communication skills, cultural and recreational exploration, health education, vocational exploration, and work experience.

Now in its third year, the Erris FreshStart programme is unique because it is jointly run by several agencies. Sponsored locally by Iorras Le Chéile, the programme is designed and managed by National Learning Network and is funded and supported by FÁS, Údarás na Gaeltachta, and the Department of Social and Family Affairs.

If you are interested in finding out more about this course, which starts in February 2009, call or text Theresa McGrath on 086 248 5568.
