Car owners in Ballina cleaned up for Rehab on Saturday July 5 by participating in the second annual car wash day sponsored by Top Oil.
Despite unseasonal weather conditions, €1,700 was raised with €15,000 raised in total at 18 Top Oil depots and retail outlets across the country.
John McGuire, director of fundraising and marketing with Rehab, commented: “We are thrilled that car wash day has been such a success, with the support of Top Oil’s depots and retail outlets. All the funds raised will go to support Rehab services for people with disabilities and others who are marginalised.”
Robert Abbey, marketing manager, Top Oil, said: “We are very happy that the event has proved such a winner at our stations across the country. It was wonderful to see local communities come out to show their support and help raise much-needed funds for Rehab at the same time.”
