Five teenagers from Castlebar based White Tigers martial arts club are winging their way to San Sebastian in Spain this weekend to represent Ireland in the WAKO European Kickboxing Championships.
The five club members Rory Dravins, Emma Flannery, Gearoid Cramp, Niall Carter, and Davitt Neary will be going for gold when they represent Ireland at this elite event. The five all qualified for the competition by winning the Irish national championships back in March and have been putting in the hours training over the summer to have themselves in peak condition for this major championship under the guidance of their coach Damien Gormley.
