Conroy out for the rest of the year

Mayo were dealt and injury blow ahead of their upcoming All Ireland semi-final against Dublin. Davitts forward Michael Conroy tweeted at lunch time today "Dissapointing weekend. Another injury that ends 2015 for me. Will be supporting from the stands. #suchislife.

The All Ireland u21 winner, has been hampered with injuries this year and missed a number of months with knocks, he had been involved in club action over the weekend with his home club Davitts against Ballintubber, he was froced out of the game after only ten minutes of action. Conroy who was an unused substuite in Mayo's quarter-final win, had been a key member of the Mayo panel since being brought back into the fold by James Horan in 2012 and started in that years All Ireland final.
