A delighted man from Mayo won Friday’s EuroMillions Match 5+1 Star prize. He collected his fantastic €206,764,00 prize today (Monday, August 17 ) at National Lottery offices.
"I’m absolutely thrilled" he said. He went on to say "Although I’m still struggling to believe that this has actually happened to me. I play the EuroMillions and Lotto every week but I never expected to win anything like this! I’m going to put some of my winnings towards starting a fund for my children’s education and paying off part of the mortgage. I’m also considering booking a family holiday to recover from all of this excitement!’ he laughed.
The winner, who wishes to remain private, bought his ticket in Kellys Garage on the Mulranny Road in Newport, Co.Mayo The lucky winning ticket was a €6 Quick Pick Play.
