New issue of Mayo holistic health magazine Atlantis Eire

Atlantis Eire, a holistic health and Celtic spirit magazine, is now into its second issue after a very successful launch of issue one in April.

The magazine is founded and edited in Mayo and is very authentic to the Irish market. It has an exciting mixture of holistic health news blended with stories about Irish Celtic culture and folklore, and also features poetry, history, and archaeology from around Ireland.

The current issue (issue two ) has a story on Grainne Ni Mhaille (Grace O'Malley ), the pirate queen. Other features in issue two include the history and tradition of the bonfire, the round towers of Ireland, summer solstice, Celtic power animals, Theta healing, and hypnotherapy.

"Atlantis Eire magazine is a light easy read," according to its founders and editors Aldo Jordan and Helen O Meara.

"It is educational, informative, entertaining, but above all a fascinating insight into the history and past traditions of Ireland," added Mr Jordan.

"For those who have a keen interest in holistic health, in each issue we feature various different forms of holistic therapies and alternative wellness techniques."

Atlantis Eire holistic health and Celtic spirit magazine is a bi-monthly publication and is available in some 700 outlets throughout the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland.

It is distributed by EM News, which is a part of Easons. Local stockists include SuperValu Westport and Castlebar, Ylang Ylang health store Westport, Atlantis shop Castlebar, and Easons Castlebar and Ballina.

Issue 3 of the magazine will be available from the first week of August.

This magazine is produced, designed, and printed in Mayo and is a part of the Atlantis shop on Linenhall Street in Castlebar.
