Irish Pride which is one of the countries largest bakeries with a major operation in Ballinrobe has entered recievership. Declan Taite and Pearse Farrell of Duff & Phelps have been appointed as joint receivers of the company which has manufcaturing plants in Ballinrobe and in Wexoford. The business will continue to trade as normal, while the recievers look to sell it as a going concern. The business was sold for an undisclosed sum in April 2014 by investment company One51 to WHW Bakeries, controlled by investors Garret and William Lloyd.
