The Castlebar area Community Games Athletic Finals wlll take place on Wednesday May 13 at St Mary’s track at GMIT, Castlebar.
All children must register between 5.30pm and 6pm. The entry fee is two euro per child. The first race begins at 6pm with a toddlers race for boys and girls under six.
Community Games will have competitions for children from under eight years up to under 16 years with a mixture of track and field events on the evening.
In order to compete in the Castelbar Community Games athletic finals you must live within the following townlands areas of Rathbawn, Derryharrif, Snugboro, Newport Rd, Garryduff, Tully, Westport Rd, Ballymacragh, Pheasant Hill, Derrylea, Aughdrina, Saleen, Station Rd, McHale Rd, Curragh, Aglish, Knockthomas, Turlough Rd, Balynew, Pontoon Rd, Cappagh, Ballinacorriga, Ballinavilla, Sion Hill, Sarnaugh, Burren and the town centre of Castlebar.
All competitors must be under the age specified on July 31 in the year competitions are taking place.
