The Connacht Property Auction held its second public auction of 2015 on Thursday last in Galway city.
In total, there were 25 properties offered for sale and the auction team noted increasing demand from both local buyers and those from further afield, including the UK and US.
With the strong sterling and US dollar rates at present, the international advertising of the auction is proving extremely beneficial with buyers from abroad.
With an 88 per cent clearance rate at the February auction, strong figures were again expected and the auction did not disappoint.
Of the 25 properties, there were 23 successfully sold.
The auction team are now taking entries for their next auction, taking place on June 25, and will be launching a large marketing campaign in the lead-up to the auction.
The Connacht Property Auction is the only auction company in Ireland that does not charge upfront costs or marketing charges to enter a property into their auctions.
