A Foxford student has won an enterprise award for her quirky invention to put an end to a common bathroom dispute.
GMIT business student Lorraine Sotoparra from Foxford is the inventor of ‘Mr Wee’, a device to train boys to lift the toilet seat when they use the bathroom.
Ms Sotoparra won an award of €500 when she came second at the GMIT Student Innovation Awards at the college’s Castlebar campus last Thursday.
