A Castlebar man has just launched a new holistic health and Celtic spirit magazine, which will be distributed to 703 outlets nationwide.
The new magazine, called Atlantis Éire, is the brainchild of Aldo Jordan, who owns a holistic shop and therapy room at Linenhall Street, Castlebar, with his partner Helen.
The magazine covers all things related to holistic health and Celtic culture and history.
The first edition has a strong Mayo feel with three articles about the ancient history of Croagh Patrick.
“We span across a comprehensive range of subjects, which include holistic therapies, Celtic culture, history and traditions, Irish poetry, Irish and Celtic folklore, to name just a few,” said Mr Jordan.
“We feature Irish artists and photographers, while also covering astrology, numerology and archaeology, with a sprinkle of everyday life stories.
“With over 33 writers from around the country, both north and south, contributing to each of our bi-monthly issues, this promises to be a great read for all.”
As well as its comprehensive look at the lore of the Reek, the first issue of the magazine also features articles on dreamcathers, the power of healing crystals, Reiki healing, poetry, bioenergy, addictions, archaeology and astrology.
Atlantis Éire is being distributed by one of Ireland’s largest media and news distributors, EM News, which is stocked in 703 outlets nationwide including Easons, Super Valu stores, Topaz service stations and Londis stores.
