The number of planning applications for residential properties has fallen in Mayo by two per cent in the first two months of 2015, compared to the same period in 2014.
That is according to the consultancy company Link2Plans, who have analysed the National Housing Construction Index figures
Mayo was one of eight counties to record a decrease in planning applications.
Nationally, planning applications are up nine per cent.
