Exciting evening in store next Tuesday with Network Mayo

In what promises to be an interesting and inspiring evening, full of practical information and tips, Network Mayo’s April event takes place on Tuesday April 21 in Delphi Adventure Resort, Leenane. The event will encompass a range of topics relevant to women’s health and wellbeing. A courtesy bus is being provided to pick people up in Castlebar and Westport to take them to Delphi. The event starts on the bus with two speakers, Ailise Loftus, a GP with Westport Medical Clinic and Clodagh McGovern, an optometrist, who owns Eye World in Westport, giving tips on various aspects of women’s health.

On arrival at Delphi, attendees will enjoy a wine/canapé reception, followed by a talk on positive wellbeing delivered by Gerry Hussey, psychologist and performance consultant. Among his current clients are the Olympic Boxing team, Munster Rugby, and Vodafone. He has been working with Delphi since 2013.

This will be followed by a short mindfulness session with Sabina Cox, sales and marketing manager with Delphi Adventure Resort, who will introduce some simple techniques on how you can learn to “live in the moment” and bring a sense of calm and wellbeing to our busy lives. Sabina Cox is a qualified yoga and mindfulness therapist. There will also be a hot supper served after the event.

The first 20 places registered are free for members. Send an email to [email protected] indicating if you would like a place on the complimentary return bus to Delphi Adventure Resort. After the first 20 places have been booked, additional members will be charged €10 for the evening. Non-members are welcome to attend for a fee of €35
