Muintir Mhaigh Eo Atha Cliath has announced that plans are afoot to mark its 110th anniversary by having its ten year publication ready for release to its diaspora world-wide in October 2015.
The publication will cover many areas of fact - the common denominator of all articles being a connection between the Mayo Association Dublin and Mayo the county, its people, and Mayo Associations worldwide.
Mayo Association Dublin invites members of Mayo Associations worldwide to submit an article for publication in the book, to be no more than 500 words on behalf of their respective association. The article should cover the connection between your association and Mayo Association Dublin, perhaps mentioning the support each association gives the other by attending each other’s annuals social events, and items such as co-operation among the two associations at the World Conventions over the past 10 years. Details of how your association was founded, current association committee members, and a photograph of the current sitting committee could also be included.
