Students’ Junk fashion wins out

A team of young fashion designers from Davitt College, Castlebar, have made it all the way through to the national finals of the Junk Kouture competition,

Junk Kouture asks students across Ireland to turn trash into high fashion for the eco-minded design challenge.

A dress called Gold Maiden, by transition year students Niamh Neyret, Aoife Halligan, and Simona Fernandes, has now been chosen for the All-Ireland Junk Kouture final.
