Achill hoe-down for Pete Montana gig

Achill is to ‘hoe-down’ to the sound of traditional country music with a twist tomorrow night (Saturday )

The Crossroads Inn, Keel, is hosting a solo performance by Pete Montana and a country themed night will start at 9pm, immediately after the Mayo match.

A native of Scotland, Montana has performed music in a range of styles and formats over the past 25 years and has gigged extensively with bands in Germany, Canada, the UK, and the United States.

He is also the co-lyric writer and singer of the Celtic Football Club anthem ‘Four Leaf Clover’, which is played at every Celtic home match.

The Crossroads Inn is well known for hosting live music but this is its first forray into the live country music scene.
