Fianna Fáil leader, Michael Martin, will be in the Castlebar area today after spending yesterday in Ballina.
At 11am Dep Martin will open the party’s new Castlebar headquarters in the Humbert Mall in the town. He will then travel to Balla where he will present the local cumann with the keys of a new car it won as first prize in the national Fianna Fáil draw. He will then visit Balla National School and lay a wreath at the republican monument.
Deputy Martin will then return to Castlebar where he will carry out a canvas in a number of residential areas with Cllr Lisa Chambers.
