To celebrate a celestial spectacle on Friday January 30 from 6pm to 8pm Astronomy Ireland will be setting up powerful telescopes all across Ireland to give close up views of the conjunction of Venus and the crescent Moon.
The National Museum of Ireland Country Life, Turlough Park, Castlebar, will be one such venue. All ages are welcome and admission is free but it is advisable to book. Contact: 094 903 1751; email [email protected].
