Spring into summer with The Style Room at Horkans as it hosts an intimate evening of fashion and fine food on Thursday March 5 at 7.30pm. The stylish event will take place at The Bay Leaf Restaurant in Turlough, Castlebar, with proceeds going to Mayo Roscommon Hospice Foundation.
TV3’s Noel Cunningham will be the guest MC for the evening and will introduce you to the latest Danish designed Friendtex Range, which is exclusive to Horkans.
“We are thrilled to be teaming up with Stella from the Style Room at Horkans to bring the ladies of Mayo this fabulous fashion filled evening. Events such as this really gives us the opportunity to create awareness for the foundation, and of course raise much needed funds to maintain our vital palliative care services in both Mayo and Roscommon,” said Laurita Blewitt, fundraiser with Mayo Roscommon Hospice.
Stella McGroarty from The Style Room said: “I’m a keen supporter of hospice and the work they do in our communities across the counties. I also know that Noel Cunningham holds this cause very close to his heart, so I thought it would be a nice way to help raise funds and exhibit the exclusive Friendtex spring/ summer collection at the same time. Horkan’s Garden Centre is not just about garden products, there’s so much more to offer and by putting on this event, people will see that for themselves.”
Hair and make up for the models will be provided by Allure Hair and Beauty, Castlebar. There will be a champagne reception and delicious tray bites prepared by The Bay Leaf Restaurant as well as lots of great prizes.
