Hyundai Ireland has announced record sales in the history of the company on the Irish market, achieved during the month of January 2015. Hyundai is now the best-selling car brand in four car categories. The Hyundai i10 – best-seller in the A car segment.
The Hyundai i40 was the best seller in the D car segment. The Hyundai IX35 was best seller in the mid-size SUV segment. The Hyundai Santa Fe was the best seller in the large SUV segment.
The all New Hyundai i20 has met with unprecedented demand in Hyundai dealer showrooms since its launch in December. To date, Hyundai has seen an increase of 40 per cent in i20 sales and is forecasting an increase of 100 per cent in sales of i20 by the end of 2015.
Hyundai’s record sales performance in January, coupled with continued marketing investment in the brand, provides a solid base from which to grow sales and achieve an overall market share of 9.5 per cent on the Irish market by the end of 2015.
