Newport will host the finish of stage four of the race on Thursday May 21, and will host the start of the next stage the following day which will wind through northwest Mayo before finishing in Ballina.
The stage which will finish in Newport is a 155km spin from Bearna that will head off from Connemara and take in Louisburgh and Lecanvey, before finishing in Newport. The following day’s 142km stage will leave Newport and head towards Mulranny, then on to Ballycroy before taking in Barnatrá, Glenlassera, and the Ceide Fields before winding up in Ballina.
