Donegal comic Conal Gallen is already well established on the touring circuit, selling out theatres across the country for the past eight years.
Now, the funny man is taking his humour to a whole new level in his side-splitting, sell-out, two-act comedy farce, A Bit on the Side.
The action takes place in the household of Bridie and Willie Murphy, a couple who have fought the war of marriage for more than 30 years. A love story unlike any other, it is a tale of passion and intrigue.
Written by Conal and his son Rory, it is a play that was 16 years and six weeks in production (16 years thinking about it and six weeks writing ).
Tickets for the show, priced from €29.90, are available now from the Royal Theatre at the box office on the Westport Road; by phone on (094 ) 902311 or 0818 300 000; and from Ticketmaster outlets nationwide.
