The Connacht Property Auction — now taking entries for February auction

The Connacht Property Auction is now taking entries for its next public auction, which will be held on February 26 in the Menlo Park Hotel, Galway.

The company, which enjoyed a hugely successful year of auctions in 2014, is the only auction provider in Ireland which does not charge admission or marketing fees to enter the auction, making it very appealing to property owners. The company also offers an online auction system where all bids are made visible on the website www.connachtpropertyauction.ie

“One of the key elements to the success of The Connacht Property Auction is the partnership of estate agents who work together to ensure maximum interest in the properties,” says Patrick Folan of The Connacht Property Auction. “Working in close partnership with over 30 established auctioneers, we ensure the property is advertised and promoted in all the right papers, websites, and property portals.”

The company is currently working with a host of auctioneers including John Higgins (Ballyhaunis ), Gerard Hanley (Claremorris ), DNG Burke Connolly Maloney (Castlebar ), O’Malley Properties (Westport ), Emma Gill (Ballinrobe ), Gerry Rowland The Optimum Group (Ballina ), Matt Duggan (Swinford ), Frank Chambers (Newport ), and Tim Quinn & Co (Belmullet ).

The Connacht Property Auction is inviting property owners who are looking to sell their property without any upfront costs to contact the auction team. Before any property comes to the market, the auction team will agree a minimum reserve figure, giving property owners total control over their minimum walkaway figure. Bidding can also continue past the reserve price until the highest bidder has secured the property.

“Through working with our partner agents and the extensive marketing campaign we undertake locally, nationally, and internationally, we are agreeing successful sales for the vast majority of properties on offer,” Mr Folan added. “Last year The Connacht Property Auction averaged 87 per cent sold in the public auction held, showing the strength of the auction service we provide.”

The next public auction will take place on February 26 in the Menlo Park Hotel, Galway, at 7pm. Registration starts at 6.30pm. Contact The Connacht Property Auction on 091 882 121 to arrange for a free property valuation, or for more information visit www.connachtpropertyauction.ie
