Record passenger numbers at IWAK

Last year was the busiest ever at Ireland West Airport Knock as passenger numbers reached 700,000 for the first time in the airport’s 29-year history.

In 2014 passenger numbers increased by more than 38,000 to 703,324 — an increase of 5.7 per cent on the 2013 figures.

The airport now serves some 20 international destinations and is served by three of Europe’s major international airlines, Aer Lingus, Flybe, and Ryanair.
