Five Mayo groups are to benefit from National Lottery funding of €11,700.
Funding has been approved by the Minister for Children and Youth Affairs, James Reilly, under his Department's National Lottery funding scheme.
Cong Community Centre is to get €5,000 while Robeen Playschool has been awarded €5,000.
The Mayo Foxford Scout Group is to receive €500, Clare Island Foróige Club is getting €400, and Involve Youth Services, Ballina, has been awarded €800.
An Taoiseach Enda Kenny welcomed the funding and said it will make a “substantial difference” to the successful organisations.
