The inquest into the deaths of Eoghan and Ruairi Chada will open this morning, November 21, at 11am at the courthouse in Castlebar. Coroner for Mayo South, John TD O’Dwyer, will oversee the inquest into the deaths of the two young boys. The boys were murdered by their father Sanjeev Chada (44 ) of Ballinkillen, Bagenalstown, County Carlow. Sanjeev Chada pleaded guilty to the murder of his sons Eoghan (10 ) and Ruairi (5 ) at Skehanagh Lower, Ballintubber, on July 29, 2013 at the Central Criminal Court earlier in October. Sanjeev Chada was sentenced to two life sentences for their murders.
